Mechanical Drives

Mechanical Drive Systems provides hands-on instruction in the operation, installation, and maintenance of mechanical drive systems used in industrial environments. Students work with shafts and keyways, roller chain drives, gear drives, clutches and brakes, V-belt drives, shaft alignment, and bearings through Amatrol-based lab activities. Emphasis is placed on understanding system operation, proper installation and maintenance procedures, and safe, industry-standard practices.
